Todor Viktorov Todorov is born in Varna , Bulgaria 1987. He began doing art at an early age and studied Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He currently lives and works in the United Kingdom.
Todor's work is often minimalist yet eclectic, emphasising the exploration of the physical properties of materials and the processes of making. His practice focuses on how viewers perceive line, form, volume, and texture in relation to a given space—and how that perception influences their awareness and understanding of the space itself. Rather than being narrative-driven, his art centers on process and procedure. The how determines the what.
This approach introduces an element of unpredictability, keeping the creative process open, generative, and intentionally prone to what he calls “errorism”—a space where mistakes fuel discovery.
Todor’s current focus on drawing and printmaking investigates how drawing can engage with and transform space by delineating over and interacting with architectural structures.
